Balfor Pro (Road Legal) Splitters

A large number of manufacturers produce towable splitters that fail to meet road-legal requirements, making them hazardous to tow. In the event of an accident, your insurance policy is unlikely to provide cover.

These models are fully road-legal and come with a certificate suitable for use with your vehicle’s insurance company.

Built on versions of our popular Pro vertical splitters, they are capable of travelling at 60 mph, making them suitable for any road and any job. Coming in at under 750 kg, they can be legally towed by anyone holding a standard UK driver’s licence.

Available models are 13, 16, 19, and 22-ton, each powered by Honda engines fitted with dual hydraulic pumps.
