Balfor Log Decks and Loader Decks
Balfor’s log decks rank among the finest on the market, and every model is backed by the company’s industry-leading five-year frame warranty.
Built for heavy-duty use, these decks come in 3.0 and 5.0-metre lengths, with 2-chain versions measuring 0.85 m or 3-chain versions measuring 1.7 m in diameter.
All deck models pair well with the Continental 416 and Continental 480-Special. Operation alongside other processors is equally possible, as is standalone use, provided the necessary hydraulic spool valves are in place to power the chains and in-feed.
For the Continental 480, there is also the option of a Log Lifter / Loader Deck – a practical solution when heavy timber needs to be loaded without access to suitable lifting machinery.
Alongside the chain-driven log deck, a Manual Log Support Bench with a Roller Conveyor is available as a more budget-friendly alternative.
