The Koala 550 sits at the top of the Koala range. Built around a 20mm Hardox® chassis and a 50mm Hardox® arm, the K550 has rightfully earned the title of “King” of the Koala’s. At 1600kg, it ranks among the most heavy-duty tree shears available on the market. This robust chassis makes it stronger, more resilient, and tougher than competing products in the same market category. Operation is straightforward – connect the tree shear to the excavators hammer lines and you gain full control over the tree shears powerful hydraulic ram.

One standout element of the Koala Tree Shear design is the replaceable blade, catering for damage sustained during extreme use. Equally notable is the bolt-on hitch, which enables the Tree Shear to be transferred between Excavators. This bolt-on hitch also makes the Tree Shear compatible with other machines, including telehandlers, skid steers, and cranes.
